Who you're dealing with. Provident Design, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. You must be 18+ and the parent or legal guardian of each student. You accept the Terms at checkout and again in the app.
What Vault Prep is. A study-habit tool: it limits access to apps a parent selects until a daily practice goal is completed. One purchase is a non-transferable license for the students in your household (up to five devices). It is not tutoring, and it is not a safety, content-filtering, or monitoring product — never rely on it for your child's safety.
No guarantee of results. No promise of any exam score, score improvement, scholarship, or admission outcome. Statistics and the baseline estimate are informational only.
Blocking. Runs on Apple's Screen Time; phone calls and emergency features are never blocked; a determined user may find a way around it and we don't warrant otherwise.
Refunds. 14-day money-back guarantee on web purchases (email support@vaultprep.app). App Store purchases follow Apple's process. If we discontinue the Service within 12 months of your purchase, you get a refund.
Warranties and liability. The Service is provided "as is"; our total liability is capped at what you paid. Your non-waivable consumer rights are unaffected.
Disputes. Individual arbitration through the AAA (we pay the fees above your first $200), small-claims court allowed, no class actions — and you can opt out within 30 days of purchase by email. New Jersey law governs.
What we collect: the parent's email, an optional student first name entered by the parent, a family code, practice statistics, and the parent's settings. Payment details go only to Stripe or Apple.
Children: students never create accounts or enter contact details; the parent's purchase and dashboard connection are how we obtain parental consent under COPPA. No ads, no analytics SDKs, no selling or renting of data. Parents can delete everything by emailing support@vaultprep.app.
What we never see: the content of blocked apps, messages, photos, browsing, contacts, or location — and the list of apps in the vault stays on the phone.
Providers: Cloudflare (hosting, U.S.), Resend (report emails), Stripe and Apple (payments), Google Fonts (website typefaces). Family data is deleted 24 months after last activity or on request.
